Okay, so here's my 2nd post for today. I thought I'd share the project we'll be doing at my workshop tonight.
It's a little box bag I based on a project from Lynn Put's blog (http://thequeensscene.blogspot.com/). I made mine Christmas themed. It's a little hard to see, but I used Irridescent Ice embossing powder on the snowman circle, so it's pretty sparkly IRL. I filled it with some Hershey's miniatures and made up a little cello bag for tonight's door prize. The hostess will get some real red grosgrain ribbon to use for her holiday papercrafting projects.
It's more complicated than what we normally do in a workshop format, but the hostess requested it. My regular group of ladies are wonderful and I hope they enjoy kicking their papercrafting up a notch.
Here's a link to Lynn's wonderful project:
And thanks Lynn for your wonderful email with links to help me with my brand spankin' new blog. Email me with your snail mail address because I'd like to send you a little something.
Supplies: Merry and Bright, Ho Ho Ho wheel, circle punches, scalloped circle punch, Cropadile, Earth Elements brads, Real Red grosgrain ribbon, Dashing designer paper, Sticky Strip, Dimensionals. Colors: Real Red, Old Olive, Whisper white.
